Nova's Quest

Nova's Quest is a 2D platformer game about Nova (a stranded robot). Nova just lost its body parts in an explosion. The game starts out with Nova's head, players have to play through the story as Nova retrieves its body parts.

These are a few of the major highlights of the project done by me

Story Development

I wrote the storyline for the robot(Nova) and its owner while working closely with the level designer to determine what was practically possible.

Hover Physics

Developed a script to make the player have a hover effect. This is because the main character's body is divided into multiple parts.

Dynamic Dialogue System

Designed a dynamic dialogue system which allows anyone to create a dialogue with just words. I also added smart animation for the dialogue system for better game feel.
